I learned that I am worthy to want to reach out to someone and that I am confident in doing so. I previously associated networking with recruiters cold-messaging and this is 100% wrong, it's about building genuine connections with likeminded individuals i.e. reaching out to someone more senior in your current role to see if they can offer any advice or even mentor. I learned to keep the initial message balanced so you're not coming across too strong i.e. asking max. of 1 questions and not flooding them. I would absolutely recommend your services. As an introvert, networking was something that always felt out of my comfort zone and felt like a forced and fake interaction. But going through the exercises in this program, helped me view networking in a different light. This program helped me to define my networking statement, define my networking goals and a strategy to network efficiently with focusing on making genuine connections. The group activities were always held in a respectful and encouraging manner which added to the positivity of the overall experience and helped in boosting my confidence when it comes to networking. The program concluded by providing us tips on how to continue building a strong network, and it set us up for success by letting us identify our roadblocks early on and put a plan to deal with these roadblocks.
